We are recruiting for the Winter season which runs from 1st December to 30th April. We are a company specialising in Management and Rental Coordination for British Home owners. Our set up is in the heart of the Aravis region of the French Alps, 15 minutes from the main resort of La Clusaz, and also Le Grand Bornand, Chinaillon, Merdassier, Manigod-Le Croix Fry.We are not a chalet rental company but provide all the same services to our clients, who some of them, rent out their properties to holiday makers.

Chalet Boy / Chalet Girl
Minimum age 18/20 years (no maximum age - some staff are in their 50s!). Chalet girls/boys are important jobs as you will have close day-to-day contact with the guests. Duties include "changeover" cleaning and bed making at weekends and weekdays for holiday guests, cleaning proprietor's chalets and apartments during the week, supermarket shopping for guests and clients if required, snow clearing during heavy snow fall, maintenance checks on proprietor chalets (verifications of electricity, hot/cold water, heating appliances), carry out "changeover" laundry duties and occasional babysitting and child minding. Chalets and apartments can range in size from 2 bedroom to 8 bedrooms. We do not require written qualifications, although relevant experience is very useful. NB. In the summer months, now clearing will be substituted for possibly some small gardening tasks.
Some knowledge of the French language is an advantage.

Maintenance Man
Minimum age 21. Responsible for chalet and some vehicle maintenance, assisting with airport transfers, helping out in chalets on the chalet staff day off and driving duties as required. Snow clearing and deliveries. This is a varied and unpredictable role which calls for initiative, independence and flexibility. NB. In the summer season, snow clearing will be substituted for garden maintenance tasks.
-Proven experience in D.I.Y., carpentry, plumbing and/or vehicle maintenance/repair experience and general repair/maintenance is essential, as is a clean driving licence.
-Some knowledge of the French language is an advantage.
-1 day off/week, accommodation provided.
