Why should I consider using your Property Management Services?
Our services are designed to ensure that you maximise the benefits from your property investment. Our role is to eliminate the hassles and headaches of managing two homes. How is Mountain Property Management different from local estate agents offering a similar service?
We are a tailor-made solution company. No matter what your property requirements,you only have to liaise with us and we'll manage the rest. Our totally bilingual set-up allows you to breathe when you pick up the phone to speak to us. Our English is as good as our French. Also,local estate agents do not have the possibility of offering the one-to-one service that we pride ourselves on,either because of limited staff mobility,constraining office hours or even because of getting to grips with the needs and expectations of owners from another country. Mountain Property Management offers the possibility of undertaking even the most smallest of tasks at any time.

I am often at the property myself,why do I need you?
Because your relaxing time in the alps is precious. If you're spending time carrying out tasks that you don't enjoy or wish you had more time to dedicate to something else,we can help. We can look after as much or as little as you want and remember,we are never more than a few minutes from your property. We can be there if you can't or don't really want to be.

How do I register and pay for your services?
Simply complete the online registration form. Then post payment to us in the form of a cheque (Sterling or Euro). To: Mountain Property Management,3 Langford Close,Fivehead,Somerset,TA3 6QE. Once received we post the corresponding agreement to you and start managing your property as soon as the paperwork is completed. Alternatively we could get together when you are next in the French Alps region and we could meet up to talk about it then. Just contact us to arrange meeting up.

Are all your clients second home owners?
Not all of them. Some of our clients live here all year round,and they use our services mainly because of a hectic lifestyle or because they are not physically able to carry out some of the tasks themselves. But it is the second home owners that generally seek our services.

Can you assist with properties outside of the Aravis region of the French Alps?
Much of our attractiveness is based upon the fact that we live,work and play full time in the heart of our clients "territory". They know that we can get to them within a maximum of 30 minutes drive time. However do ask us if you have a property in a neighbouring resort. If we can we will, if we can't then we may be able to help find a solution for you.

Do you carry out all the work yourselves?
Most of the tasks are carried out by us,but in the more important areas of construction and renovation,we prefer to let the expertise to do the work. We prioritise our time with client contact,so much of these actions are delivered by our partners or contractors which are either selected by our clients or through our recommendation. Our primary role is to represent the owner. Quality,value for money and after sales service. Therefore we delegate major tasks to the most appropriate resource. On all occasions we will be your sole point of contact in getting the job done. However no one will be at your property without your prior approval. We also provide an on-site works supervision service.

What guarantees do you give to get the jobs done,on time and on budget?
By working with Mountain Property Management you will only have qualified and insured tradesmen workingat your property. All works will be subject to quotations and invoices on receipt of works. Where you have special requirements these can be built into a contract for the works. Remember we can do as much or as little as you wish. From simply finding tradesmen to full project management of your works. If you're not satisfied you only have to tell us. We will act on your behalf to ensure all contractual obligations and consumer rights are delivered.

Do I need to have an annual agreement with Mountain Property Management?
It is not essential,but recommended so that you benefit fully from our services and best value for money. This in additional to being able to contact us when ever you require. In periods of high season and demand our work load is prioritised with our members at the top.

There does not appear to be an Owners pack that fully meets my needs?
Don't worry you're not alone. All properties and clients are treated as individuals. Circumstances require us to be fully flexible. We would be please to put together a tailor made package for you,as we have done for other clients in the past.

How do you keep me updated on my property?
Once an agreement put together,we will update you on regular visits to your property by e-mail,telephone or fax. Every time we are involved with your home we will inform you in one of the above ways. Client contact is Mountain Property Management's priority,and something we never delegate. We are always at the end of a phone or e mail for you and live in the heart of your region.

I don't have access to the internet,can we still communicate efficiently?
Of course. Faxes,letters and of course the telephone. We are driven by our clients. Most choose the internet because of the speed and flexibility. We very much enjoy meeting up with our clients during the periods that they are in residence ensuring that they are fully satisfied with the services being delivered.

What is an Inspection visit?
This is a visit to the property where we follow a pre-defined checklist given to us by the owner. We also have our own series of checks when visiting a property,but there may be some areas which you may like to point out to us in addition to this. We work with the client to build up a series of checks. Some clients require a sweep of their property to ensure that all is as it should be,others require actions to be undertaken prior to the property being occupied. Only a Mountain Property Management representative will carry out Inspection visits. These are never passed on to partners.
